Looking red hot on the red carpet was Carrie Underwood, star of the show in the first Annual
American Country Awards in
Las Vegas, Nevada Monday, December 6. Held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena,
"Before He Cheats" singer ended up winning all
six prizes which she was
nominated, including Artist of the Year.
In addition to Artist of the Year, also Miss Underwood won trophies for best female artist, best touring artist, best album and single and music video by a female artist.
