He might take his cooking seriously, but Jamie Oliver has made a hilarious video showing how he's going to use his Emmy Award statuette in the kitchen.

The star won the gong last week at the prestigious 62nd annual awards, held in Los Angeles, for his U.S. reality TV show Food Revolution.

But the video opens with the chef chopping cucumber with the much-prized gold statuette.

Sporting a cheeky grin, the chef says: 'I've got this beautiful new kitchen gadget, it's brilliant! I've got a double bladed knife, a balloon whisk here, I've even got a garlic crusher and it works brilliantly, I've got a bottle opener here, it's everything I've ever ever dreamed of.'

He then demonstrates its use as a garlic crusher by bashing a clove on the work surface with the statuette's base, before seriously thanking the Academy who gave him the award for Best Reality Show, as well as those who he'd filmed Food Revolution with.

The TV series filmed the British chef trying to change school menus and residents’ eating habits in the U.S. town of Huntington, Virginia.

He enthuses: 'In all seriousness, this is a beautiful pat on the back for me, and I'd like to thank all of the crew, we had the most astounding crew, both English and American that absolutely lived The Food Revolution and contributed over and above what they were asked to do, they were incredible.'

Jamie also says that the project he started is still 'going strong' in Huntington, with local schools in particular still eating fresh food.

Jamies then concludes his video address by saying he's going to use the award in all his cooking shows from now on - then begins decorating it with fruit, vegetables and herbs.

He says: 'It's above and beyond a fruit bowl, look at that, it looks good, it's contemporary, you can sit it on table, you can put a candle in it, it's just great.'

Jamie meanwhile, who celebrated his 10th wedding anniversary in July with wife Jools, is expecting his fourth child.

The baby will be brother or sister to Petal Blossom Rainbow, one, Daisy Boo, seven, and Poppy Honey, eight. Jools is due to give birth any day now.

The 17-year-old star was all smiles as she and mother Tish dashed through the terminal in New York .

Miley was in her usual attire of denim cut offs and transparent T-shirt, with her lacy black bra visible beneath. She added a long black cardigan, colourful bag and a pair of Alexander McQueen zipper boots.

Perhaps her latest film LOL: Laughing Out Loud is influencing her outlook, because despite speaking publicly on how smitten she was with Australian Liam, Miley was flashing her toothy grin all the way through the airport.

And while the couple, who met on the set of The Last Song, only parted ways last week, rumours are already rife that Miley may have started yet another on-set romance.
Blogs are buzzing with speculation that Miley is hooking up with Step Up 3D actor Adam Sevani.

Reports are claiming that while the 18-year-old curly haired cutie and Miley are not dating, they are 'friends with benefits'.

Earlier on the trip, Spears dressed in a pink and black bikini, looked deep in thought as she smoked a cigarette and watched the festivities below.

And Spears has clearly regained her confidence, showing off her newly toned figure by the pool and on the beach in a variety of bikinis.

It comes just a few weeks after she and boyfriend Frank Lampard were spotted enjoying a night on the town sporting matching orange glows.

But while Lampard matched his skin to Christine's, her old friend Adrian Chiles appeared to have stuck to his natural skin tone.

The pair are set to be reunited five months after they last shared the sofa for The One Show.

They will return to TV as they front their new programme, which is replacing GMTV, from next Monday.

BBC1 controller Jay Hunt said: 'Of course Adrian was hurt. Adrian was hurt by the changes to Friday night.'

She told an audience at the Edinburgh Festival that he was offered a 'range of opportunities' including a chat show and sports shows and said it was 'the sort of offer of work that a lot of presenters would give their back teeth for'.

Christine announced she would be joining Chiles in July after she signed a £4million three-year deal with ITV after the BBC withdrew its £900,000 two-year-offer to stay at the corporation.

Their arrival has seen the departure of veteran GMTV hosts Penny Smith and Andrew Castle, while Kate Garraway has been handed the role of entertainment editor.

The femme fatale took part in a raunchy photo shoot then posted some of the pictures on her Facebook page.

They were picked up by other websites and are now widely available on the Internet a week before they were supposed to be published.

The magazine claims she has breached copyright and is now taking her to court in Moscow.

Maxim Korshunov said Chapman was not paid for the pictures that were taken in mid-July.

‘There were no financial obligations to her,’ he said. ‘We weren't expecting to pay her anything and I got the sense she wasn't expecting anything from us.’

Despite hoping for an interview it did not take place in the end because Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, the modern day equivalent of the KGB, was against it.

An agent from the service accompanied Chapman to the shoot and remained in the hotel lobby throughout, only leaving when she was whisked away into a waiting SUV with blacked-out windows.

Highlights of the photo-shoot were posted on a MSNBC news report today.
Despite the setback, Chapman’s life would not appear to be completely ruined.

The Russian spies were given a warm welcome by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and the country has a history of rewarding those in the espionage game.

The country’s last celebrity spy was Andrei Lugovoi who in 2006 was accused or murdering Russian dissident Alexander Litvinenko in London. He is now a deputy in Russia’s parliament.

Robert Baum, Chapman’s New York lawyer, said he had not been informed about the photo shoot.

The 24-year-old actress stepped out yesterday looking supremely bronzed and healthy as she attended a meeting in Santa Monica.

Wearing a low-cut white vest, and high waisted skirt and gladiator style heels, the troubled star looked the picture of sobriety.

'Someone could easily have been killed or seriously hurt because of her irresponsible decisions that evening.'

Rice's attorney Paul Hoffman said: 'My client Tracie Rice thought she was going to die that night and wants Ms. Lohan to be held accountable,' he said after an early hearing in the case.

'Lohan's behaviour was so extreme and outrageous. Ms. Rice is still traumatized from the incident.'

If the lawsuit is not settled by the scheduled trial date, Lohan, 24, faces another courtroom appearance as she could be called to testify under oath about the incident.

In the meantime, Lindsay has to observe strict court rules after she was released from court ordered rehab following a three week stay of a planned 90-day stay.

Shawn Chapman Holley said: 'She has changed. She's healthy, she's clear-headed, she's positive.

She's looking forward to beginning anew and having a productive life and schedule.'

The court also dismissed two counts of Lohan being under the influence of cocaine.

Holley said Lohan was released early from rehab 'because the treating doctors at UCLA felt she had done everything required of her there.'

The sight of Shakira splashing around in a fountain is not the kind of thing that would upset most people. If anything, the opposite is the case.

But spoilsport officials in Barcelona have seen the Colombian singer shooting her new video and they are not happy about it.

After seeing YouTube footage of her dancing in the famed Pla de Palau fountain with fans and riding on the back of a Harley Davidson motorcycle without a helmet, Shakira, 33, could face fines from the health and safety brigade.

Shakira is in the Spanish city filming her latest music video for the track Loca, but fans who witnessed the fountain frolicking posted videos online.

One city council member pointed out that Shakira 'did not even ask permission to film' in the landmark and could be fined as a result. The authorities will assess the video and could punish 'those responsible.'

'When asking for permission in Barcelona, you can take this kind of footage without problems,' the council member added. 'We will analyze the images to detect infringements that have been committed during the recording of the spot.'

Shakira was also pictured zooming about the city on the back of motorbike without mandatory head protection.

The council has complained that Shakira 'does not lead by example' being 'a public person.'

World's greatest tennis shot? Federer's 'William Tell' trick becomes a smash on the net

Roger Federer won't reveal whether there is a little bit of magic at work in his trick-shot video that has served up more than three million views on YouTube.

The clip shows Federer knocking a metal can off a man's head with a serve while shooting an ad for Gillette.

Then, he does it again, drawing applause from the crew.

Federer's official website carried a link to the video which appears to be an homage to the tale of William Tell, who used a bow an arrow to split an apple on his son's head - an old Swiss legend.

But there are questions over whether the modern day Swiss legend - aka Federer - really performed the trick shot, or if it is a cheeky bit of digital cheating.

Following his opening match at the Cincinnati Masters on Wednesday night, Federer was asked directly whether the video is real.
'Not saying that,' is how he responded.

Then he added that 'a magician doesn't tell how his tricks work.'

As the video goes viral the question for viewers is, do you believe Federer - who has won a record 16 Grand Slam events and is considered by many to be the greatest tennis player of all time - is capable of such a feat?

The argument is encapsulated by an exchange between two posters on the website Reddit, which goes as follows:

A Huffington Post poll on the veracity of the video currently reveals 57.08 per cent think it is real, while 42.92 per cent think the champ is cheating.

Fans on YouTube were also split with poster mlekrans asking the pertinent question 'If it's not fake.. where is the resulting Gillette ad they were supposed to shoot?'

Another ad watcher was in agreement, likening it to the advert Brazilian footballer Ronaldinho shot for Nike, repeatedly shooting the ball against the crossbar from 20 yards.

'As much as I would like to believe that it's real, you have to be quite naive to believe it is,' wrote Skaryguy.

'Like the Ronaldinho crossbar ad, sure it looks like he's doing it, but there's no way.'

But a poster called nathantaton treads a diplomatic line between the two saying: 'I know not whether it's real or staged, but I appreciate it either way.'
