Caught on camera: Russell Brand seen here apparently lashing out at a photographer at Los Angeles LAX Airport todayRussell Brand has been arrested for battery at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) after allegedly attacking a photographer.
The British funnyman was traveling with fiance Katy Perry when he became irate with a photographer and struck him.
According to U.S. reports, another photographer made a citizens arrest on the 35-year-old before airport police stepped in.

'The victim involved placed the suspect Russell Brand under private person's arrest.
'Airport Police took the suspect into custody for Penal Code Section 242 - battery.
'He will be booked at the LAPD Pacific Division station.'
After the arrest police were seen taking their own pictures of the alleged victim, who appeared to have a bruise on the left side of his face.
